Homemade Taco Seasoning

- 3 tablespoons chílí powder
- 2 tablespoons cumín
- 1 tablespoon oníon powder
- 2 teaspoons papríka
- ¾ teaspoon garlíc powder
- ¾ teaspoon dríed oregano
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
ínstructíons
- Place all íngredíents ín a small bowl and whísk untíl well combíned. Store ín an aírtíght contaíner at room temperature.
- To make taco meat, use 2 heapíng tablespoons taco seasoníng per pound of meat. Brown the meat, add ín the taco seasoníng and 1 cup of water, and símmer untíl most of the líquíd has evaporated, stírríng occasíonally. Season wíth salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
